Striking Gold at Local Soccer Venue

Tampa, FL – The Strikers added a new element to its roster this week by signing several local stars from the CINCO SOCCER player pool. After having two successful tryouts at the complex, the Strikers announced they had corralled some of the best 5-a-side players in the area.

Cinco Soccer, long known for its all-out, edgy style of play and super cool soccer atmosphere, is providing a breeding ground of indoor type players. Because of the close quarters of the venue with the walls and tight fields, they are replicating many of the elements of the indoor game.

“Many of these players have years and years of experience playing here and it has paid dividends to us because of their ability to play in tight, fast-paced quarters. The hunger and desire they exhibit is outstanding and has ultimately groomed them for their new soccer careers. We are extremely excited to partner with Cinco Soccer. I think it portrays everything we try and do with indoor soccer but with a cool, edgy twist.” stated Striker GM Gary Tufford.

Cinco Soccer has partnered with the Strikers to become their official soccer training and practice facility. Zander Rados, General Manager of Cinco Soccer, stated,” We are extremely excited and proud to be the official training and practice facility of the Strikers. I am not surprised that some of our players were signed. There is a bunch of local talent in our Tuesday night Premier League that have the ability to play at the next level. When my dad, Keith Rados, started all of this in 2008, it was designed as a recreational facility housing a bar, clubhouse and several fields where local guys could have 5v5 pickup games and enjoy the game. Now we host tournaments, leagues, field rentals and even parties.” Cinco has a second location in Lakeland and is looking to open its third facility soon.

Besides all of the regular game play that takes place on site, they also have Cinco Juniors which holds clinics, instructional practices and tournaments. Tampa’s underprivileged youth are also assisted with free intro to soccer classes at Cinco.
